my cousin, amber, introduced me to mike ryan's music a few weeks ago when she came back from the steamboat music festival (which sounds like a great time - definitely want to check it out one day). i have a soft spot in my heart for texas country, and i'm always interested in hearing new music that hasn't gone mainstream yet. i've been streaming his music on spotify, and he's definitely got some great stuff. "dancing all around it" is from his latest album, but i think my favorite song of his so far is "only all the time"; it's such a sweet ballad. you should also hear his cover of conway twitty's "slow hand". i'll be downloading his albums on itunes, for sure. check him out, y'all!
