eternally grateful for these two and the munchkin.
happy thanksgiving, y'all!
i hope that your day is filled with family, lots of yummy thanksgiving food, fun & football (haha)! this is by far my favorite holiday. i mean, i get a day off to stuff my face with turkey, and dressing, and green bean casserole, and mashed potatoes, and candied yams? yes!
here's what i'm thankful for: a chance to start over, every day, brand new. yes, we have to deal with the repercussions of our actions from the day before, and the day before that, and so on, but each day brings us peace and the opportunity to try again, to try harder, with grace and gumption. this is a weird time in my life - thirty and still trying to figure things out - but i have seen and experienced so many wonderful things, so i wouldn't change it for the world.
so here's to a beautiful holiday season, friends. let's end 2016 with love, kindness and our best foot forward (and maybe a little shimmy too)!
