i ordered this book from amazon.com a couple of weeks ago, after it showing up on my recommendations list about as frequently as i eat. i've been really into memoirs lately. they give me a bit more inspiration to keep up with my writing, than novels do.
walls' parents fascinate me. they're clearly intelligent, and that the raised such intelligent and artistic children is a testament to that. but you also feel an emotional pull to walls and her siblings. their story is not full of fairy tales, but they make their own happy ending.
