what a wonderful world...

I imagine myself sitting on the edge of a pier, with my feet dangling over the side, leaning forward ever so slightly, just enough to tempt the desire to jump in. I am surrounded by the brightest, most beautiful greens I have ever seen. The grass, the trees, the flowers around the lake frame it as pretty as a picture. It is in this place that I feel the most calm I have ever felt. The sun shines on my skin and I am warm. I am not alone, for I can feel my loved ones nearby, and I know I can reach them with a holler. But, I like the idea of sitting on the pier, by myself, just enjoying my own company.
