run #2 for this year's 5k challenge was the stock show stampede. although, technically this isn't a true 5k because it's a 4 mile run, i'm still going to count it for february! our family has done this run every year for the past 4 or 5 years. this year it was just my dad and i, however. the course takes you around the rodeo grounds and through a little park. i was running with an injury, which i'm still kind of nursing, so i did walk for most of the second mile (rough, uneven terrain) but my time wasn't incredibly horrible. i was good with being under 48 minutes! next up: the diploma dash!
